Located along Highway 288 in Young, this family owned cabin is set within a historic 400-acre ranch. Whether you are in search of family fun, a romantic retreat or a place to relax after a day of hunting, you will find peace and quiet here in your home away from home. Be sure to let us know if you are visiting for a special occasion. We provide enough firewood for your stay at no cost, additional firewood is available for a nominal fee. Our newly remodeled cabin is completely furnished, including all linens and a fully equipped kitchen. We offer two bedrooms and the cabin sleeps up to 6; bedroom 1) queen bed, bedroom 2) two single beds and the leather sofa sleeper comfortably sleeps 2. The cabin is surrounded by hundreds of acres of land at a comfortable elevation of just over 5000 ft. Young is located 26 miles from Highway 260, about an hour and a half drive from Payson. Our cabin is close to several fishing lakes and creeks, hiking trails, and campgrounds. This is the spot to be for outdoor fun and relaxation. Plenty of ATV trails in the area, although ATV's are not permitted for use on the property. Young features a restaurant, bar, convenience store and gas station. Dirt road travel, 13 miles, is required from 260 to 288. 4x4 may be necessary during inclement weather, call ahead to inquire. We monitor road conditions diligently. If you have never been to Young, please call for specific driving directions.

Our cabins have been in the family for more than 50 years, purchased as a vacation property by our father, Charles B. Sherrill, Sr. The property consists of almost 400 acres of land with this cabin sitting on a 150 acre parcel. Our property is now owned by the children of CB Sherrill who grew up visiting and enjoying all that the Pleasant Valley has to offer. This has always been, and continues to be a favorite place to vacation or enjoy a relaxing weekend with our families. We now offer our cabins for those that wanted to enjoy the area in a home-like setting.

Young, Arizona
